Easy Rent Bulgaria is a Bulgarian rent-a-car company founded in 2012 with just 5 vehicles and one clear idea – to provide reliable, convenient and personal service of the kind we ourselves would expect to receive.
Today, in our 15th year, we operate a fleet of 1,500 vehicles, have a team of more than 50 employees, and are present at key locations across the country. From economical city cars and family models to SUVs, minivans, electric vehicles, premium and exclusive cars, we have built one of the most diverse rent-a-car fleets in Bulgaria.
But behind the numbers is something that has remained unchanged since day one – our commitment to every customer.
Easy Rent Bulgaria began its journey in May 2012 in Sunny Beach with five cars, a small office, and far more ambition than resources.
In the beginning, we did everything ourselves. We served customers along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, delivered vehicles to different locations, welcomed and assisted customers, managed reservations, and solved problems as they arose. Our first website was a long way from what we would call a modern online system today, and a simple spreadsheet served as our reservation software.
Gradually, we began receiving more and more online bookings for Sofia as well. We moved part of our fleet there and started welcoming customers with advance reservations at Sofia Airport through a meet & greet service – years before we had our own rental desk at the airport.
Our growth has never followed a straight line. There have been mistakes, difficult periods, cars that were not where they were supposed to be, middle-of-the-night flights, unexpected expenses, losses, and decisions that had to be made on the spot. There were moments when the next step seemed far greater than the resources we had available.
But those were precisely the moments that shaped the company we are today.
Becoming an official rent-a-car operator at Burgas, Sofia and Varna airports transformed not only the scale of our business, but also the way we worked. The high standards required of airport operators pushed us to become more organized, faster and more precise, gradually building the standards that today we consider a natural part of the way we operate.
As the company grew, so did our fleet. Alongside traditional economy and family cars, we gradually added estate cars, SUVs, minivans, convertibles, electric vehicles, business-class, premium, luxury and exclusive cars.
Today, Easy Rent Bulgaria operates a fleet of 1,500 vehicles and has a team of more than 50 people. Behind every car are people – team members who manage reservations, welcome customers, prepare and clean the vehicles, coordinate logistics, maintain the fleet, and handle the dozens of small and large situations that remain invisible to the customer.
Two appearances in the FT 1000 ranking by the Financial Times and Statista – in 2021 and 2025 – are achievements we are proud of. But for us, the growth of a company has never been measured solely by the number of vehicles, revenue, or awards.
We believe that a successful company is built not on promises and advertising, but on the way it treats people and the impression it leaves behind.
We started with this belief in 2012, and 15 years later, we continue with the same conviction.
The scale has changed. The ambition and the way we treat our customers have not.
